The Footsteps Program offers activities for children on Saturdays from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
The goal of this Program is to help nurture and care for children while lending a hand to young mothers.
Duration: September to June (closed during the Christmas and New Year holidays)
Updated location: Jamaica Association of Montreal, 4065 Jean Talon W.
1 - various educational and creative activities;
2 - reading circle;
3 - arts and crafts;
4 - healthy, tasty and nutritious snacks;
5 - the opportunity to play and have fun.
Parents can stay during the activities or take the opportunity to leave their children in a safe and nuturing environment during the stated times.
Susan Hamilton along with educators and trained volunteers, from Frontier College, are present to assure that all of the children are safe and learning.
Young mothers, up to 35 years old, with children aged 5 can take part in the Au Futur Program. This program is designed to assist mothers in need and offers a number of services along with important workshops. Please visit for more information: http://jam-montreal.com/programs/au-futur
