The Jamaica Association Banquet Hall is available for your private and public events.  Thank you for considering the use of our space for your important events.

HALL CAPACITY

The hall can comfortably accommodate 120 persons for a dinner or a meeting.  For cocktails and dances,  the hall can safely accommodate a maximum of  150 persons.

FULL-SERVICE BAR

We stock a full service licensed bar with domestic and imported beers. Additionally, we serve a range of rums, wine and spirits along with signature Jamaica Association cockail mixes.

HALL RENTAL INCLUSIONS AND RENTAL OPTIONS FOR PRIVATE OR PUBLIC FUNCTIONS

For private functions, up to 12 round tables, 120 chairs and serving tables are included in the rental (based on rental needs)

These Items, #1 to #7,  are available for rent (each item has an individual cost):

  1. White satin tablecloths
  2. White satin chair covers
  3. Black or green chair sashes
  4. Green or red or gold cloth napkins
  5. Ceiling to floor full length ivory coloured curtains
  6. Sound system
  7. Cordless microphones and speakers for meetings

NOTE: Our kitchen is available for the preparation to serve meals, it is strictly forbidden to cook meals on-site.

PRIVATE FUNCTION COSTS :   (1) cost of space rental per hour + (2) individual costs of items available for rent

 

For public functionsthe hall rental, includes the use of our sound system and stage.

PUBLIC FUNCTION CONDITIONS:   All events with an advertised cover charge and that are open to the public,  require the presence of at least two (2) licensed security agents. The Jamaica Association of Montreal inc. will provide the security agents for these events at a cost of $125 per agent.

 

CONTRACT AND RENTAL AGREEMENT

All rentals require the completion of the rental agreement and must be completed in person.  A deposit is required as per the Terms of the Rental Agreement.

 

PAYMENTS

All final payments must be received on the day prior to the start of the event.
